Things to do immediately after you flash RSK Sattelite Rosie 8.0 on 3.5 sense:
1. Go in Settings-->RSK Sattelite Tweaks-->Misc Options--> and check "Beats Boost".
2. You can use Seeder 1.4.0 if you encounter any lag!
3. Set RSK Sound Manager for best experience in sound!
For headset:
In RSK Dynamic Range Compression
a) Enable "RSK Compression"
b) On "Select RSK S.M Effect Strength" put it on "Extreme"
In RSK Beats Boost
a)Enable Beats Boost
b)In "Select RSK S.M Effect Strength" put in on "RSK Extreme"

No, for now RSK Team will be working on Sense 4.1 Rom, but maybe in the future yes!!

very good update ... flash photos are green .... it happens to someone else?
The only bug that I found in the rom was when I went into settings/about phone/software info/more it automatically returned me a few steps back, eg to about phone... and also, when I was setting up the alarm last night, set the time, checked the days I wanted, wrote a name 4 the alarm and when I chose a song 4 the alarm it reset the whole thing... The name was gone, the time and the days as well. Did anyone else encounter this? Btw, great work, I love the new lockscreen without bubbles and the new dockbar... the rom is very smooth :)
No way to change background when dialing for now maybe in the future because i also have projects on 2 Samsung Smartphones: I9300 and I8190!!!

@david meyis. I also encounter the same problem photos taken with flash diode are green with Amaze cam, camera from sense 3.0 and U-Cam.

I noticed that the flash is not quite in sync with the camera. The dark images are not well lit. For example, the MIUI camera does not have this problem. There is a chance to solve this problem?

The ROM works great, honestly this is the first ROM I like from the beginning (I've tried many ROMs).
I have a problem though, my camcorder doesn't work and when I try to record (in any resolution) the phone freezes and I have to remove the batery to reboot. I had this problem with previous versions too.
P.S. With stock ROM camcorder works fine.

This is amazing work and I totally respect the hard work the team made. the last version of this rom was super stable for me. used more than a week and not experienced any problem. Now, I flashed the 8.0 and I cannot see Google account to login. Music Player is showing error force close, please tell me if this problem resist or I need to reflash the rom.

Sattelite edition doesn't support A2SD or similar script ?
I only have 120MB of free space. I tried to activate it through terminal emulator but it looks like it's not supported..

@Olar Florin - Are you not happy with 3.5 sense v.8? I remember that you ask an updated for 3.5 sense. Now you are anxious for a SuperSense with 4.1? Because only on sense 4.1 my teammate Halaros2 talked about SuperSense! Final??? Why you always want an ETA? Do you realize today is weekend? Sorry for so many question to you, but please tell me or show me another Tweaks so inovative (offcourse with less bugs then ours)in Desire development on Sense 4.1??!

I'm using the RSK Special Edition odexed version every day and works fine for me. Thank you for your effort and great work.
I decided to replace the stock ROM with yours to avoid permanent low internal memory problem.With this ROM this problem is solved. When the V8 appeared I tried it quickly as well, but I missed the stock look of the phone and I decided to flash back the SE again.
First question, is it planned to get back the stock look in V8?
The only problem with SE that I have to set the mode of the mobile network to "WCDMA only" to avoid the freeze in case of incoming call (the problem occurs when the mode is set either to "GSM only" or "auto"). Was this problem experienced by you with this ROM as well? Is there a solution for this? Was it solved maybe in V8?

is there possible to put the _ underline back on the screen...and i can't change my phone name to desire....i renamed and save ...restart but still the same.....

This rom is great, way faster... is it possible to get the stock theme (icons + notifications) back ? i found a link on the xda themes forum for a stock theme of this rom specifically([THEME] Stock Sens Theme For RSK Sattelite Rosie 8.0) but it screwed up some other stuff like I cant connect to Wi-Fi anymore etc. Thanks a bundle.

@Olar Florin I have a 1.5GB ext4 partition with 650MB available but despite of this today I've not been able to update my apps in the play store because I don't have enough free space

^ Thanks. I knew it. I use "Cloudy" at Manual mode when using flash and I found it's good. But I am too lazy to turn back to auto when not use flash so picture is pink or red a bit :lol:

As with many GB ROMs I experience the Dialer/Phone wakelock bug: they keep eating battery quite fast after a phone call. Any hints for workaround or fix?
@Konrad No workaround for moment! But no problem for me with version 8 in 14 hours of hard using!
Maybe you're lucky and the bug doesn't affect your phone? My gf has same phone, same system and bug doesn't show -- there must be some pretty complicated combination of conditions to trigger it... I just tried disabling proximity sensor and see what happens.
Another question: I have the Special Edition at the moment. It uses A2SD. Some apps like Skype, Facebook, etc. store a lot of data and manage to fill up internal memory. I want to try DATA2SD. So... if I flash Data2sdV2withA2sdremover_by_jikantaru.zip will all the hell break lose or will it still work?

I have few issues with it:
- the system volume keeps resetting to max every now and then; it makes the weather sounds and lock screen clicks very loud
- battery indicator stops quite often in both 'directions': the phone may be plugged in and charging, but the indicator keeps showing, for example, 61% for ever; or it gets stuck on some value when phone is unplugged, keeps showing 91% until the phone dies; same thing on two different batteries; remedy: power off, eject/reinsert battery, power on
- something eats battery fast, max 12 hours on full charge and moderate use, I disabled proximity sensor to avoid Dialler bug, so it is something else: 'Battery use' shows Phone idle or Android system eating up most of battery juice
@Konrad - My friend you are a special user! I have not encountered any of your problem described by you! About the battery i can say that the Desire it can be use normally for 8-10 hours without any problem with version 8! Thanks for your feedback!
I think I've found a way to reproduce battery indicator bug:
- phone charging/discharging normally
- reboot to 'recovery'
- make backup
- reboot system
From this point the indicator is stuck at last proper value, it does not go down, when charged all night it climbs to some random value. Only power-off + battery out and in + power on helps.
Ok, this ROM on my device is 99.7% perfect, I could handle most issues. But 'About phone' --> 'Model number' says 'GT-I9100' which is wrong. I've edited all 'Samsung' and 'GT-I9100' entries in build.prop and default.xml in /system/customize (2 files there) and... 50% success: Play Store does not say I have a Samsung anymore, but 'About phone' still says GT-I9100. In what file is this string hidden?

im a fun of sense roms and i really like rosie but like other roms i tried the last 6 months im in a point where i wonder if it is the roms or my device. the problems im facing with pretty much heavy use:
1. phone rebooting by itself and speed problems.System slows down and eventually crashes, especially while playing a game or reading the news at a point i changed superuser with supersu and damon controller with another app just to check. at first things were better but again no luck, like something is making my desire so slow.I tried fixing permissions,wiping dalvik and cache, works for a while and again same story(i m not either sure if that was the right thing to do.)
2. battery not charging in some cases(happened twice the last month).3. sound re-adjusts by itself on occasions.
I ve just downloaded RSK Sattelite SuperSense Sense 4.1 and i m probably going to test but the thing is that i m tired of changing roms every now and then and i consider rosie a rom i could stick with so please reply cause i m a bit desperate here. is it the rom , is it my phone?
@Nikos Katris - About 1st point i can tellyou that version 8. of our sense 3.5 rom it was tested from June 2012 till the public release and phone rebooting i have only when i play one game Modern Combat 3. Because of overheating entire phone. But never slow speed on normal day use (email, twitter, browser, small games, weather sync, app drawer etc etc).
About 2nd - never ever had this problem, so can be from your usb port charging...you never know!
And 3rd Never sounds re-adjustment.
You can try to see if you have this problem with our Special Edition sense 3.5 odex or deodex version from our Xda thread!
Version 8. it is a daily driver for my wife for over 10 months and no problem at all...she plays NFS Mw, Oz and other without any problem.
But my good friend and partner Halaros2 always says that we have teh same brand phone-HTC Desire but it is different in every country or individual device!

@Nikos Katris: I think I experience same things as your #2 and #3. Or similar.
Re #2: My battery indicator sometimes stops when charging or discharging. The battery is full, but it shows for example 47% all time. I think it happens when I reboot to Recovery and then reboot normally. Problem disappears when you power off and remove battery for a short while.
Re #3: I have a weather lock screen active and weather widget on home screen. Weather sounds every now and then reset to maximum. Also the lock/unlock screen sounds. I simply switched them all off.
Apart from this this is my default ROM after trying many. With CM7r2 hboot there is plenty internal memory, all is smooth and fast.
@Mr. Mefisto: any easy way to get rid of 'GT-I9100' in 'About phone'? From which file does it come?
@ Konrad There is no easy way because it is hexedit that GT - I9100. I name it like this to be able to play some hard games and to install some payed apps that it was incompatible with our HTC Desire!I am sorry for that if it is an inconvenient! Thanks for your feedback!
If you tell me in which file this "GT-I9100" is stored, I can edit or hex edit it and make an add-on to a few people who are unhappy with the current phone id.
BTW, a week went by and this is still my default ROM :-)

Hello! Sorry for bothering you but i've ran intro a little problem . I made a back-up of this rom a while ago using AmonRA and now i can't restore it . After restoring and rebooting it gets stuck at 1st boot screen ( green HTC logo ) . Tried with stock hboot and cm7r2 , even tried flashing boot.img via fastboot but with no luck :( I have some important sms messages that i would like to retrieve from that back-up but i can't so i would be very gratefull if you could give me some help . Thank you!
@Toni Fzr - Sorry for you but i did not recommend from the beginning AmonRa recovery for our custom rom`s because of this problem that you`ve encountered now! I think your messages will be gone forever!
Good news!!! By accident i managed to recover my messages . This is how i did it , maybe someone else will benefit from this :
After trying to restore my back-up but with no luck , i decided to quickly flash a rom since i had to leave for work . The only rom i had at that moment on my mem card was "RunnymedeMod007_v27_c-CM7-STOCK" , wich i flashed forgetting to do a complete wipe . Rom was choppy and laggy but to my surprise it contained the old sms messages stored in the RSK Satellite rom . Managed to do a back-up with Snappea and now i'm happily flashing back a fresh copy of RSK Sat Rosie :D
I don't know if flashing without wiping can brick a device , maybe Mr.Mefisto could shed some light over this .
Call logs are also present , think this method can work for emails also .
